My internship at iAdvize

It has now been two weeks since I started my internship at iAdvize, a young start-up from Nantes (France) helping companies improve their customers’ experience online though click to chat. This three months internship that will last until the end of August will allow me to graduate my Bachelor degree from Brittany Business school after having spent a year in Cardiff (Wales).

Actually, what is it that iAdvize does? This young startup was founded in early 2012 by Julien Hervouët (CEO) and Jonathan Gueron (CTO) who were before working for Zlio before they decided to launch their own business. iAdvize is offering a tool to online businesses and merchants in order for them to improve their customer relationship management. In fact, iAdvize’s click to chat solution will allow online visitors to get help from a real human being while browsing a website. This will allow web merchants to help their potential visitors get the information they need in order to complete a purchase.

Click to chat is a growing communication channel that allows for a faster, simpler and often cheaper mean of contact compared to more traditional phone calls.

For the time of this internship I will be assisting Maxime Baumard (Communication director) in preparing the launch of the service for English-speaking countries. This internship which promises to be really interesting will also be very versatile in terms of tasks to do which already makes me feel excited for what’s to come. I will therefore be taking part to communication and marketing actions as well as SEO and customer service. In a nutshell, a motivating and versatile position in an exciting and always growing startup!
